The start to competitive football in season two hasn’t been positive. We’ve struggled for consistency and really struggled to create meaningful goalscoring chances. So that’s the end of my first season in charge of Vitória on FM19. I can’t complain at all, my aim of qualifying for the Europa League was achieved as we finished 3rd in the Premeira Liga behind champions Porto and runners up Benfica.

The tail end of the season is here. My Vitória side goes in to the last few months sitting in 3rd spot. There’s no hope of a late title challenge, but there’s still plenty of work to do to seal a top five spot to make sure European football comes to Guimarães next season.
